As we close the books on our Reality Journalism competition, we’re going to have one last Project White House Happy Hour from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8, at Danny Baboquivari Lounge, 2910 E. Fort Lowell. Will we have concession speeches? Announcements of independent bids for the presidency? The revelation of what “CF” really stands for? Find out this afternoon!

On the other hand, 300 people besides me voted for me. Even my father, who thinks I’m an idiot!

No matter how many votes you got, you should, in Ralph Waldo Emerson’s words, “congratulate yourself if you have done something strange and extravagant to break the monotony of a decorous age.”

Consider running for things that no one else wants to run for, as I’m doing as a Democrat in Arizona’s Sixth Congressional District.
