Dear Community Leaders:

As a Presidential Candidate for Election 2008, I am reaching out for community leaders across our nation to share this important message.

Most Americans have been raised with a consciousness of what makes us very special. We want to pride ourselves as being the kindest nation. Our Statue of Liberty has written on its tablet: “Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!” by Emma Lazarus

As Americans we are also accustomed to a very most powerful and undauntable pride. This is for good reason. Americans no matter what race, creed, color, religion, or followings and beliefs, are for the most part, decent, fair and moral minded people.

As being the nation that represents the most diversity of cultures, can make our country quite strong in standing united. The common ground I see in our strength is when diversity is in balance.

Amendment I of the Constitution says that we can all be different. This Dignity afforded in Amendment I, we as Americans are expected to practice. This can make the United States strong and also admired by others across the globe. This in itself sets a precedent of what the United States at its core is really about.

The right of Free Expression in ‘Amendment I’ means that there is no one religion or belief that is recognized over another and that all should be respected. But this can only be achieved through the practice of our mutual respect. Each and every one of us comes from immigrants who settled in the United States. Each brings their heritage with them. It is a matter of mutual respect for our nation to remain rich through its cultures.

For those who have not learned or who are new to this mutual respect, it is for the rest of us to teach through its practice and expectation. This is how many bridges in our communities can be built where the tolerance in the acceptance of others who do not necessarily look like us is vitally important for our nation’s strength.

Although in the United States one can become quite rich, our self esteem must be based on principles first. I would rather share my time with one who is the poorest financially, but has self respect over one who is quite rich, but has not a sense of respect.

Today, what can tear our communities apart is our economy. Immigration has become an issue used for this. It has been used divisively for political gain by blaming unregistered immigrants as the cause of taking away jobs. There are an estimated minimum of 12 million people that are currently in our country who are not registered. They have been termed by politicians and the media as ‘Illegal’. When considering what is really illegal, let us consider the speed we drive our cars. It is typically about 10 miles per hour over what ever speed limit is set by law. Most feel that our speed limit signs are out of date. Further, we as the majority of American drivers are indifferent to law if we can get around it; that is regardless if out of date or not. The consequences are more fatal accidents, and far more fuel consumption.

Yet we speak of independence from foreign oil. The point: we must be honest enough to understand and accept our own contradictions. We must have speed limit signs that work and then to use them wisely. This is before being able to understand the smoke and mirrors that are handed to us about immigration.

What is not accounted for is that these 12 million unregistered immigrants, who we do call illegal, the IRS knows as being legal tax payers. They pay about $50 Billion a year in income tax. Over all, they bring about $200 Billion into our economy that does circulate into the hands of U.S. Citizens.

Compare this to the $800 Billion that leaves our country by visitors who work here and ship their money out of our county to their home. It is true that they pay taxes too, but what they keep is not spent or can circulate in the economy of our communities. So immigrants who do not really have a voice can be used as an escape goat to allow this cheap visitor labor force.

To be a legal American can cost upwards of $25,000 dollars. This should not be the case. Like our speed limit signs, it is a matter of revising some very outdated laws in the 1986 Immigration Reform Act. Simply, if you are working in this country, and your purpose is to become an American, I believe that you should be able to.

As a working tax payer, who intends to be a citizen, one is contributing to the economy of this nation. That is what is most important. One can also be part of a family, where a member is a working tax payer. This must be considered as opposed to just punitive measures for people who want to become Americans.

I have proposed revisions to the immigration laws. These revisions many view as fair and just. This is detailed in a document that is online at http://unity2008.org/Immigration.html. As the current state of our economy cannot afford people to arrive on our shores that are jobless, this must be considered. But of more importance, our economy cannot afford to lose $800 billion a year from visitor labor and off shoring of our jobs. I consider them for the most part also decent people, where many I do know, but it’s a matter of what we can currently afford and not afford for our burdened economy.

In recovering our economy through fair trade, and investing in our nation (as described here: http://unity2008.org/book/RestreOurNation.pdf ) , we can then galvanize our communities. This is in terms of education, language development, job training, and more viable paths towards citizenship.

I ask you to take an active interest in what is noted in the above. I am looking for help from community leaders so to have the policies I propose to be realized for our nation. This can only be accomplished where the voice of our nation can be heard on Nov. 4, 2008 if it is to speak for these policies.

Sincerely,

Orion Karl Daley

Dear Union Member:

I am the Presidential Candidate that has a progressive vision for service and labor unions.

Many unions are opting to endorse either Clinton or Obama. But what do either of these candidates actually mean by saying they support unions ?

Is Clinton or Obama willing to have the government fund long term strike loans, or provide grants for union startups? Do they even suggest a union like the UAW get shareholder votes in corporations like GM to prevent offshoring ?

For that matter, just how do they propose to return industry and jobs back to our shores; or even fund the needs of our community’s First Responders ?

Do they even suggest how to avoid union busting?. Further, does either candidate think that a running mate should come from a union background ?

Has either Clinton or Obama spoken about standing up for your Constitutional Rights that were shelved on July 17th , 2007 ?

In contrast, I intend to empower unions as part of the vital balance of our economy, and believe this is key to the economic solvency of our nation.

This is described more in detail in the document ‘Restore Our Nation’ that is obtainable at http://unity2008.org/book/RestoreOurNation.pdf

In New York, I’m reaching out for Union Help for Election 2008. This is in four critical areas. They are:

1. To seek a Vice Presidential running mate that is of union background that can stand shoulder to shoulder with me in the leadership of our nation.

2. To obtain 31 union members who will be the required electors needed to be on the New York State ballot on November 4, 2008.

3. To obtain 15,000 union member ballot signatures in New York State.

4. To expand the process of obtaining electors and ballot signatures to unions across our nation to accomplish the above in every state.

Historically there has been the two party system where we normally choose either a Democrat or a Republican and go with the flow. Today ‘going with this flow’ could be like going over a water fall in a barrel.

I propose that the government provide grants for union formation, support in the form of loans to unions in order to aid strikes when necessary to resolve issues, help prevent union busting, further the rights of working people, and plans for assuring that first responders have what they need.

Unions have never in our history been started with a ‘Go with the Flow’ attitude, and likewise our nation’s future cannot be trusted with it either. We need to establish real standards and plans; and then chart a course to achieve them.

I am asking for you and your union to help me make the difference so America can work for us all. I bring real and responsible solutions for the present day events that burden every working and unemployed person and believe that ‘No American is to be left behind’.

Honored by your Consideration,

This Presidential preference campaign has been exciting, and I want to commend editor Jim Nintzel for his efforts to help all of the Project White House candidates. I also want to thank the people of Arizona who voted for me.

My own campaign has emphasized “change for the better” and also “conservatively trying to keep the US from self-destructing”. If a society does not learn from the past — it follows that when such a society is heading downhill, there are many impulses to continue doing the things that are self-destructive.

For example, since 1971, the US Federal Government has been following president Nixon’s statement, “We are all Keynesians now.” But Keynesian economics is essentially a price-supporting tool, not a method of stimulating the productive part of a nation’s economy. Keynesian economics tends to make the long-term outlook much worse, in exchange for a very small benefit in the present time. By contrast, Adam Smith’s economics is the proper and effective method to use when trying to stimulate a nation’s economy, and Smithian economics was used successfully in the US from 1776 to 1971.

Eventually the Federal Government will either drop Keynesian economics, and switch back to Adam Smith’s economic principles — or the US will soon collapse under a mountain of debt, and a shortage of Productive activity.

My campaign has been trying to teach the general public, including the media, that the US needs to have its political candidates declare that they intend to follow Adam Smith’s economic principles. I have been showing examples of where and how Adam Smith’s principles can be applied.

It would not be proper for me to concede on these campaign principles.

On another topic, I want to draw attention to a very positive trend in Republican politics this year on the national level. A Republican candidate with a comparatively small budget, and none of the traditional Republican spin-strategists, is gathering big percentages of the Republican primary votes in several states. That candidate is Mike Huckabee, former Governor of Arkansas.

Due to the “favorite son” phenomenon of John McCain in Arizona, Huckabee did not draw a large percentage of Republican votes in Arizona. But let’s not be misled by our local Arizona situation for Huckabee (opposing a favorite son candidate). A big change appears to be taking place in Republican politics at the national level, where modest funding can produce big results. For future encores of Project White House, I feel it would be beneficial to partially imitate this year’s campaign of Mike Huckabee. By that I mean starting substantially earlier before the preference election, obtaining small amounts of public and/or private funding for Project White House from activist organizations, and making more public appearances.

This year’s campaign has been a beginning - a constructive beginning. The future can be even better.

I want to thank the folks who believe and trust in my vision and plans for our nation. I am glad to see that 80 voters looked closely at what was offered. For these 80 voters and for more to come, please know that I am reregistering as an independent. I also ask you to reach me at http://unity2008.org with any questions or inquires. Please let me share a summary of some of my plans and visions for our nations tomorrow.

In Mann, what I found is that Obama and Clinton Supporters are quite responsive to something that is actually real. Those that were volunteers as an example over last weekend seemed replenished when handing them the Flyer, and in discussing responsible solutions. http://unity2008.org/book/FLYER.pdf

One example is Health Care. I pointed out that when the Dems propose more affordable health care, and the Repubs suggest more choices, that in being one in the same, just end up offering insurance companies more reasons to deny claims.

Further noted, was that the Health our of Nation is reflected in our people, and cannot be a business, and that health care cannot be at tax payer cost. Instead covering , not just 47 , but 300+ million Americans is doable by making a tax exempt investment in our nation. Additionally , this can be of our own standards for quality coverage and should not be associated with how Canada, or England offer their programs, but perhaps how Dubai provides theirs.

The funding strategy is well defined such as at my site, and in my book, The New Deal, and can provide a better return I feel than a savings account: it is a tax exempt investment which is not mandatory, but assures coverage for all. It is something that Wall Street, and the richest 2% consisting of $10 trillion in private wealth will hop too. This means that Congress will accept it gladly.

The Insurance companies are to no longer be in the business of denying claims, but if wise can make a fortune in managing claim volume for the Dept of Health. These Insurance companies pride themselves in the IT resources, and have a more profitable business model.

I pointed out that Education can also be financed as another Social Welfare type of Tax Exempt Bond, which then affords the opportunity to make it readily available to all. This further enables States to lower land taxes which then permits Home owners to keep more of their money too. I see no reason why Education should not be an entitlement for every US Citizen as this reflects our Intellectual capital base. You should be able to get any form of education at will no matter what age you are.

As for Home owners, in the New Deal there is the Government Infrastructure Fund to correct the Mortgage Back Securities Market issue, which then corrects the loss of 400,000 homes in 2007. I predicted this problem before the book’s publishing last June. I further predicted an economic implosion if we don’t smarten up.

In the areas of Economic Development Bonds, Energy research can be funded, and gardened by the government until the startup in question is matured enough to receive mezzanine funding and venture capital. This enables a .Dot Comm Boom type of economic surge where the difference is that what is gardened will have underlying fundamentals as opposed to some bubble. Hence, a another thread in a New Age Economy can be born.

Chapter 4 of my book has an extensive Economic Reform Plan, where the Social Welfare and Economic Development Bonds are only two of many dimensions.

To return industry and jobs to our shores is Balanced Trade. Its paradigm is to gain parity by regulating import volume to export volume. This is fundamentally based on Ohms’s Law. By limiting offshore industry only 10% of their normal import volume calls for 90% consumer demand to be made up by local industry. Hence, Walmart, GM, and others would have to return to our shores if they want the business. The Price of imports goes up due ti being limited, and local , based on increased volume comes down. Pricing meets in parity based on volume. Communities now can have their jobs back.

There are many dimensions to my platform which called for writing it in a book. So could not cover this here. But hope you get an idea of some its its thinking.

For Registration in NY which required 31 delegates and 15,000 ballot signatures I have started to reach out to Unions. As providing them also with a good deal, or if you will, a Bill Of Rights, I am asking for a Vice Presidential Candidate that can stand shoulder to shoulder with my plans and vision, provide 31 delegates, and 15,000 Union Signatures. I have noted that as Unions were not created by ‘going with the Flow’ that likewise they cannot afford to vote Democrat or Republican either. I am hoping that in possibly getting a ground swell in NY, that this can reach across the nation via Unions.

Another voice I am looking to reach is the ethnic diversity that we have in our nation. I also have a fair and productive immigration plan, and view that the voice of many minorities combined can become its own Majority. We should be proud of our nations ethnic diversity.
Please also know that I favor no foreign nation over another in terms of foreign aid, or for that matter military aid, as this must go only through the UN. In this manner, the UN is to become responsible for managing this. If a Nation wishes to appeal to the US, we could be an advocate, but cannot directly support them. If a nation does not want to be a contributor via the UN then their position will become more well known.

Well, that is a lot of reading for now, but wanted to convey what I see as fair and balanced leadership. There is much more like cost effective government, lowering federal withholding to about 1/5th of what one pays currently, how to pay down the escalating debt, and other, and how to build bridges through workable foreign policy, but hope that I can get your interest to help get a ground swell in Arizona.

Honored by your Consideration,
