Democrat Chuck See responds to the new candidate challenge:
Now that Hillary has played the ‘Gender Card’, her nomination seems secure. With more than half of the country being women, she should be in pretty good shape. Ever since ‘The Moment’ women from across the county have, come to her aid. Please don’t cry Hillary, we’ll vote for you.
Of course, it would have been nice for her to win on her laurels, but with Bill’s aura fading, you do what you have to. It’s not that she hasn’t been busy accomplishing things. You can find a list at: http://hillarynow.cjb.net/ under the tab, ‘Why Hillary?’ She sponsored the ‘No Child Left Behind’ act, which is so popular with teachers. She introduced the Hydrogen Fuel Cell Act, which will probably never have any practical use, and found a whole host of other ways to spend money.
But her real strength, and the activity that shows her exceptional intelligence and cunning, was the purchase of the female vote through her work on Women’s Issues (http://clinton.senate.gov/issues/women/), such as providing for teaching women negotiation skills, providing vocational training for women, funding a scenic parkway through important Woman’s Suffrage sites, and her fight to fund the Violence Against Women Act to the tune of $5.8 BILLION per year.
But don’t feel left out guys, Hillary used $1.6 Million FEMA dollars to reconstruct a soccer field in New Rochelle, you like soccer don’t you? No, how about swimming? She used another 3.3 Million FEMA dollars to reconstruct the road to Orient Beach State Park. I do feel a bit sorry for those folks down in Louisiana though, are they still living in those trailers???
I leave you with two quotes: 1) “If there is one message that echoes forth from this conference, let it be that human rights are women’s rights… And women’s rights are human rights, once and for all.” and from the Hillary for President Website, summarizing her goal: “Make History!”
