John McGrath: “A clean sweep of the ‘politics as usual’ crowd!”

My Fellow Americans,

I’m asking for your vote in this primary election on February 5th, 2008.

John McCain, Mitt Romney, Rudy Giuliani and Mike Huckabee have been in politics for a very long time, and they have lost touch with the public. Unlike those four front runners, I am not beholden to any corporation or special interest groups. I want a return to a government of the people, by the people and for the people. I intend to make a clean sweep of the ‘politics as usual’ crowd, and I hope to show the difference that one individual can make, much like Mr. Smith in “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.”

Have you noticed that none of the politicians discuss the subject of immigration anymore? They are hoping that you are too busy worrying about the budget. Well, immigration and the budget go hand in hand. Both of these issues are going to cost us a lot of money. Watch for the play on words, they will introduce the ‘amnesty’ bill, assuring you that it will benefit all Americans. You and I know and deserve better. We need someone who will represent the hopes and dreams of the American people, not just corporate America. We need someone who will put Americans first and foremost, and I am that candidate.

I hope you will remember me when you go to the polls:
John R. McGrath, number 12 on the Republican ticket.
Let’s return the government back to the people where it belongs.
Thank you, and please remember to vote on Tuesday, February 5th.
